The slow part of a loan file is often not the bank's decision. It is the morning someone tries to log the case and finds the Aadhaar is a photo of a photo, the bank statement is missing a page, or the property paper is still in the borrower's gallery.
Check the set, not one file at a time
Before a lender login, look at the whole set the loan type needs. For most housing and LAP files that means identity and address proof, income proof, and the property papers you already know the bank will ask for. If your loan types list required documents, use that list. Do not invent a new one in chat for every file.
Name what is still missing
"Documents pending" is not a status a team can act on. Write the missing item: six months of salary statements, the latest ITR, or the chain of property documents. Put that on the follow-up with a date. The borrower then gets one clear ask instead of a vague reminder.
Attach papers to the application
A file that is ready to log is a file whose documents sit on the application, not in a personal download folder. When an executive is in the field, another person should still be able to open the same record and see what is already there.
Ten minutes on the checklist before login saves a day of "please resend" messages after the bank rejects the upload.
